Saffiano leather was first dreamed up in one of Italy's most famous tanneries and was a signature and patent of established design house Prada. Since its first appearance in the world of fashion it has flourished into one of the most sought after leathers in the world.
Saffiano leather is made from the highest quality calf leather. The name Saffiano comes from the cross hatch print that is pressed into the wax that coats the leather. This elegant leather is as durable as it is beautiful: this leather is water, stain and scratch resistant.
